The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority Commission is expected Friday to approve a new policy that will provide clear, structured guidance for disclosing conflicts of interest in the contracting process.
“The policy is intended to safeguard LAHSA from legal, financial and reputational risks while promoting public trust by ensuring that all contracting activities are conducted transparently, impartially and in compliance with legal and ethical standards,” according to a report from Holly Henderson, director of risk management.
