Ricky Hatton's funeral details have officially been announced, as fans are offered the opportunity to say goodbye to the world champion.

Funeral directors, Frank Massey and Son Ltd, have shared details of the arrangements on behalf of the Hatton family today (September 26).

This comes after his family made a moving statement following the news the boxer had been found dead at the age of 46 at his home in Greater Manchester.

The funeral directors have now confirmed a service for the boxer will be carried out at Manchester Cathedral at midday on Friday, October 10.
