Michigan is set to wrap up the first official week of fall with a warm, clear weekend, forecasters say.

Across the state, expect highs in the 70s and 80s and mostly sunny, dry conditions Sept. 27-28, per the National Weather Service.

In the Upper Peninsula, highs will reach the low 70s with clear skies and mild weather, the NWS office in Marquette said in a post on X.

"Slight chances for isolated showers this morning. Cloudy skies in the morning will trend clear this afternoon. Warmer and drier weather moves in this weekend," the Gaylord NWS said in an X post .
