Pam Kaufman, president and CEO of international markets, global consumer products & experiences at Paramount , is leaving the company, but will serve as a consultant through the end of the year, according to sources familiar with the situation.

The move comes after Skydance closed its $8 billion deal for Paramount last month, creating a “next-generation media and tech giant, Paramount Skydance , led by CEO David Ellison and president Jeff Shell.

“Personally, working at Paramount has been the honor of a lifetime,” Kaufman said in an internal memo, which The Hollywood Reporter has obtained and which is entitled “I’ve Had the Slime of My Life.” And she highlighted: “I am excited to see what David Ellison, Jeff Shell, and the new leadership team have planned for the future.”
