President Donald Trump signs hats after the final of men's singles at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York on Sept. 7, 2025.

President Donald Trump has landed at the Ryder Cup at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale, New York, on the first day of competition on Friday, September 26.

Air Force One was spotted flying over the first tee box at the Ryder Cup, where President Trump is expected to attend the afternoon fourball competition, cheering on Team USA.

With the U.S. team trailing 3-1 following Friday's morning round, Trump told reporters, "We're going to get it done. One way or another, we'll get it done."

Trump is an avid golfer, having spent several days during his second presidential term on the golf course.

The president has made appearances at several other sporting events this year, including the U.S. Open men's tennis final on Sept. 7 and several UFC events.

His arrival caused an increased presence of Secret Service, who are usually at the scene of the event with dogs on hand before the president's arrival.
