Strictly Come Dancing's Amber Davies has posed with her new co-star for the first time in a 'full swing' message on social media.

The Welsh actor, podcaster and TV personality was drafted in at the last minute to replace fellow Love Island winner Dani Dyer on the BBC programme.

Dani was forced to pull out of the launch show after fracturing her ankle while rehearsing with Nikita Kuzmin.

Despite Dani having appeared on the launch show, her withdrawal arrived just days before the series’ first live show on Saturday night (September 27).

With fans fearing that Nikita wouldn’t be competing on the series either, Amber was drafted in to joining him on the programme.
