In one of the more modest weeks of the Southeastern Conference’s schedule, it had a referee controversy in its biggest game and another squad fall to an American Conference opponent. It does lead into the biggest weekend in conference play.

Last week’s Oklahoma-Auburn game had a few controversial judgment calls made by the conference refs. In the end, it was OU sacking former quarterback Jackson Arnold nine times, tying the program record and securing a win. ×
