BOSTON (WWLP) - The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced a new partnership to develop an artificial intelligence curriculum in 30 school districts across Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts STEM Advisory Council and the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative are collaborating with Project Lead The Way (PLTW) to pilot components of the AI-related curriculum. This initiative builds on the Future Ready: AI in the Classroom pilot, which provided professional development to educators earlier this year.

In its first year, the pilot program is expected to support 45 educators and reach approximately 1,600 students across the state. The course, focused on Principles of Artificial Intelligence, introduces students in grades 8 and up to foundational concepts, technologies, and societal implicatio
