Parents have been left further upset by Roksana Lecka's refusal to explain why she abused 21 babies, including by kicking one little boy in the face, police said. The sick nursery worker, 22, was seen fiddling with her hair and smirking during a police interview. ‌

As she was quizzed about a baby “on a mattress" who "seems to be crying” , a stunned police officer paused to ask: “Sorry am I boring you?” ‌

Lecka gave no comment answers, including when another officer put to her during her interview: “You’ve not told us that you’ve kicked one of the kids in the face. ‌
