“Deliberate, repeated and continuous” deposits of unauthorized fill on agricultural land near Mission have an Abbotsford trucking company facing legal troubles.

Sran Trucking, based on Harris Road in Abbotsford, is facing multiple charges in Abbotsford Provincial Court and is also being sued by both the Agricultural Land Commission and Ministry of Environment and Parks in Supreme Civil Court.

The legal issues stem from the alleged dumping of waste on an approximately 6.28-hectare property at 11130 Stave Lake Road in Hatzic, within the Agricultural Land Reserve. A 31-hectare wetland complex covers about 74 per cent of the property.
