BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - The Rouxgaroux arena football team is back this season, but with a new name and a new venue.

The Louisiana Rouxgaroux, formerly the Shreveport Rouxgaroux, will play this season at the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Mayor Tommy Chandler announced Thursday, Sept. 25.

Team owner, Keith Carter, visited City Hall Thursday to introduce the team and sign contracts.

Mayor Chandler, who’s a big football fan himself, says he’s excited to see what the team will do in Bossier.
