SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – An arrest was made in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old in Cedar Grove.

The Shreveport Police Department, aided by the U.S. Marshals Task Force, arrested 17-year-old Kamarion Young for the shooting death of Victor Samuels, also 17, on September 23, 2025, just before 10 p.m.

Young faces a count of second-degree murder and was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
