One session down, four to go at the 2025 Ryder Cup, and it's already looking like a movie we've seen before.

Europe largely dominated the Friday morning foursomes session at Bethpage Black, winning three of four matches, each by a significant margin. The duo of Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele managed to avoid total disaster for Team USA, picking up a win to keep the score at 3-1 in favor of Europe.

Next up is the first session of fourballs, a 2-on-2 contest where each golfer plays his own ball and the pairing takes the lowest score on each hole, as opposed to the alternate shot format we watched Friday morning. (Read more about how each match format works in the Ryder Cup).

Here's who the Golfweek staff is picking to win each match in Friday afternoon's fourballs session at Bethpage Black.
