GRAND BLANC, MI – Keefe Dougherty was on his way home after picking up his dog from his mother’s house when he had to swerve out of the way to dodge a wayward driver.

Dougherty was attempting to make a left turn but had to avoid a collision with another driver by driving forward.

After dodging the car behind him, the driver pulled up next to Dougherty’s vehicle, yelled at him and showed him a handgun.

Dougherty decided to follow the driver of a silver Ford Escape to get his license plate information and report the incident to police.

After following him for a short time, the driver, who was later identified as Ter-Ray Pendelton, allegedly pulled over, got out of the car and fired 5-6 shots at him.
