During a work session on Thursday, the Henrico School Board made changes to the school system's proposed redistricting plans. The board eliminated two possible scenarios and adjusted a third.

First, they dropped a plan to move approximately 72 students from Ridge Elementary to the newly rebuilt Jackson Davis Elementary. Second, they cut a scenario that would have moved roughly 76 students from Holman Middle to Hungary Creek Middle. Finally, the board adjusted the plan for Quioccasin Middle that would have brought in some students currently zoned for Pocahontas Middle.

The changes came exactly a week after the first of three town halls, where parents provided feedback about the proposals. Two more town hall meetings are planned: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Springs High and 6:30 p.m. on
