As Portland is on track to deliver the lowest number of new housing units since the Great Recession, developers, brokers, investors and lenders joined Gov. Tina Kotek and Mayor Keith Wilson Thursday to discuss financial incentives to spur apartment construction.
Multiple projects across the metro area are in the planning and permitting phases of development, but those units aren’t likely to hit the market for a couple of years.
