LaMelo Ball made intense efforts for the Charlotte Hornets in the 2024-25 NBA season. However, after playing 47 games, the Hornets announced that Ball would miss the rest of the season to undergo two minor procedures to address ankle and wrist issues. Without the superstar, the team finished the regular season in a disappointing 14th spot in the Eastern Conference standings with a 19-63 record.
As the 2025-26 NBA season will begin in a month, the Hornets are preparing to make a better impact. Meanwhile, reports have emerged indicating that the Hornets are open to trading LaMelo Ball if frustrations continue.
