FAIRMONT, W.Va. — A rockslide and vehicle accident is under investigation in Marion County.

Around 6:25 a.m. a rock slide and accident with entrapment was reported on U.S. Route 250/Husky Highway near Pine Grove Road.

One person was transported with unspecified injuries and the road has reopened.

The accident is being investigated by The Marion County Sheriff’s Department. Volunteer firefighters from Barrackville, Farmington, Marion County Rescue Squad and the West Virginia Division of Highways assisted at the scene.
