FAIRMONT, W.Va. — Two in Fairmont are facing charges after a female toddler who was locked in a home fell out of a two-story window.
Fairmont police said Victoria Frampton, 23, and Anthony Grogg, 22, placed a child lock on the door to prevent the child from getting out.
Police noted that the child was unattended for two hours without a child monitor or anyway for the child to communicate with the adults.
The child moved the mattress from the bed and was able to get out of the bedroom through a window.
Police said the child about ten feet onto a gravel surface. Police said there is video of the fall that shows the child rolling on the ground in pain before getting up and walking away.
