Darren Singh now owns Renton’s best-kept secret: a speakeasy bar that feels like a blast from the Gen-X and Millennial past, from the death of disco to Y2K.
Located off Tobin Street, the bar has been open since June and celebrated its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 17 with Singh’s family, friends, the Renton Chamber of Commerce and local leaders.
“It has always been a dream,” Singh said of opening the speakeasy. “I love music, movies and art. I love hosting and having events.”
