The International Cricket Council has fined India's captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan's fast bowler Haris Rauf 30 per cent of their match fees for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the Asia Cup. Pakistan batter Sahibzada Farhan, however, was let off with a warning, according to ESPNCricinfo.
The sanctions were imposed by ICC match referee Richie Richardson following incidents during the high-voltage Pakistan-India encounters earlier this month.
Suryakumar was fined after being found guilty of making comments alluding to military conflict following the group-stage clash on September 14. The penalty followed a formal complaint from the Pakistan Cricket Board.
