GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro police are set to give an update about three years after a North Carolina A&T State University student was killed.

Assistant Chief Ric Alston is scheduled to provide an update during a news conference at 3 p.m. Friday.

Police did not confirm the name of the student.

This was the same year that two teenagers, including an NC A&T student, were killed during a shooting at a party.

At about 11:30 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2022, police responded to a shooting at an apartment complex on Circle Drive. The privately-owned complex, which is not owned by or affiliated with NC A&T, served as off-campus housing for many A&T students and is close enough to campus that AggieAlerts were sent out.
