According to a report, the source believes Mostert might end up on a new team through a trade since he has yet to see the field, and this is true given that rookie Ashton Jeanty is the future of this backfield unit. It's not like Mostert is getting backup reps, as he's buried all the way down the depth chart behind Zamir White and Dylan Laube. It's safe for the Raiders to trade him to gain some draft capital, and while it won't be much due to his value, it wouldn't be the worst thing for the Las Vegas ground game.
