SRINAGAR : The Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA) on Friday took possession of the Royal Park Hotel after the expiry of its lease agreement, weeks after reclaiming the historic Nedous Hotel. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officials said that the GDA-owned property had been rented to a local businessman several decades ago. The lease period ended in June this year and was not renewed, prompting the authority to reclaim the hotel to prevent unauthorised occupation.

The handover was carried out in the presence of officials and was described as smooth and peaceful.
