Athletes in Lethbridge could soon have a new venue.

The Lethbridge Soccer Association (LSA) says it was thrilled to learn that the University of Lethbridge had received the funding needed to progress with its multi-sport dome project.

LNN is awaiting more details on the dome itself, but we have previously heard that it will include a full-sized synthetic turf field for field sports, two versatile sports courts for basketball, volleyball and other indoor games, as well as a four-lane running track.

Randy Virginillo, Second Vice President of the LSA, explains that it is the next necessary step for their club to be able to provide the services that athletes want and need.
