CANTON, Ohio — Members of the Canton Fire Department sprung into action on Friday to rescue a dog named Lucky that wandered on to the roof of a house.

According to a pun-filled release from Canton Fire Chief Steve Henderson, crews responded to a home in the 700 block of Gobel Avenue NE at approximately 11:45 a.m. "for reports of a dog in the dog house having wandered out of a window onto the 'woof' of a two and a half story home where he refused to be coaxed back in the window."

So how did Canton's finest manage to make this rescue?
