ANTRIM COUNTY — A 79-year-old Indian River woman died Friday morning after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US-131 and M-32 in Warner Township, according to Michigan State Police.

Per a Sept. 26 news release, troopers from the Gaylord Post said the crash happened about 8:45 a.m. when the woman’s Ford passenger car turned south onto US-131 from M-32 and was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Mancelona woman.

The Indian River driver was taken to a hospital, where she died from her injuries. The other driver was also taken to a hospital for treatment.

Investigators said foggy conditions are believed to have contributed to the crash.
