OTSEGO COUNTY — Michigan State Police troopers are investigating a head-on crash that left three people with critical injuries on Sept. 20 in Elmira Township.
According to a Sept. 26 news release, troopers from the Gaylord Post responded around 8:25 p.m. to the crash on M-32 near Buell Road.
According to a preliminary investigation, a Ford SUV driven by a 70-year-old man from Saranac was traveling east when it crossed the centerline and struck a westbound Dodge pickup truck head-on.
The SUV driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
