LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Kentucky Kingdom is celebrating Halloween with a pumpkin takeover, featuring over 1,000 glowing pumpkins, giant sculptures and themed food throughout the park.

"It's a lot of fun. This is our fourth year. It's become a fall tradition for a lot of families," said Logan Sanderson with Kentucky Kingdom.

Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom caters to all ages, offering activities like a hay maze and trick-or-treating for children, while thrill-seekers can up the ante a bit by riding the roller coasters in the park.

"We have a lot of our rides at people who are thrill-seekers enjoy like Lightning Run and Wind Chaser, and then entertainment and food as well, so something to appeal to everyone," Sanderson said.
