Shillong, Sep 26: Meghalaya made an impact at the World Food India (WFI) 2025 event held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

The state’s dedicated pavilion was inaugurated by Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan in the presence of Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.

The pavilion highlighted Meghalaya’s rich produce heritage, innovative agri-value chains, and investment-ready ecosystem. Paswan praised the state’s efforts, particularly in promoting sustainability and organic products, and expressed pride in Meghalaya’s organic Lakadong turmeric gaining global recognition.
