INWOOD - On a night when the Musselman girls soccer team celebrated its senior class, four of those seniors each had their shining moment in a win, as the Applemen cruised to a 9-1 victory over Berkeley Springs on Thursday.
Of the nine goals, four were scored by seniors Nyxx Butler, Skylar Hook, Lizzy Stegmaier and Ashlynn Simmons, while another upperclassmen, Sydney Paxman, led the way with a hat trick as Musselman earned its third win of the season.
Stegmaier got the scoring going with 12:43 remaining in the first half, as her shot from about 30 yards, from straight on, got past the keeper for the 1-0 lead.
