A security guard at a downtown Portland pharmacy who raped a woman in his secluded basement office a decade ago was sentenced to 16 years and eight months in prison.

Daniel Cassinelli was working as a loss prevention officer at the Rite Aid when he ordered the woman down into the basement of the store — out of sight of security cameras — and then forcibly attacked her on Jan. 21, 2015.
