Two historic rivals get set to meet up on the pitch in Ann Arbor on Friday night, as the Michigan Wolverines play host to the Michigan State Spartans.

The Wolverines have been looking like one of the top teams in the country, and it has shown in their performances in the first month of the season. After looking like a strong force in the team’s non-conference schedule, Michigan came away with a huge win over then-top-ranked Indiana. The maize and blue kept their winning ways going with a 2-0 win over Washington last Saturday to remain perfect in Big Ten action, and unbeaten overall thus far.
