IRONMAN and the Augusta Sports Council have agreed to renew their partnership for the next five years to continue the IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta triathlon through 2030. The popular event includes a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, and 13.1-mile run throughout the Augusta area.

Since 2009, the event has been a staple of the North American triathlon scene. And with a reported economic value of $76 million since then, it has proven to be a benefit to both the participants and locals alike.
