“48 Hours” is making a return this weekend, with the show’s 38th season set to debut on Saturday, Sept. 27.

The new season of the investigative news show will kick off the case of 17-year-old Benjamin Elliott, who was sentenced for stabbing his twin sister, "a crime with no known motive," Paramount said in a news release. His defense team says he was sleepwalking when he killed her, according to Paramount and prior media coverage.

Paramount says the episode will feature members of Elliott’s defense team, prosecutors, as well as Elliott himself. Apart from the first episode, entitled “The Boy Who Killed His Twin,” a preview of the following episode, “Coached to Kill,” is set to air Sept. 27 at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT.
