COLUMBUS, Ohio — The suspect accused of fatally shooting a woman and injuring two other people at an east Columbus apartment last week was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday.

According to Franklin County Court of Common Pleas records, 32-year-old Zandra Wignal was indicted on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called around 9:25 a.m. on Sept. 18 to the 3200 block of Sterling Lane near Stelzer Road on a report of a shooting.

Columbus Police Sgt. James Fuqua said shots were fired from inside and outside of an apartment building.

The officers found three victims with gunshot wounds.
