Birmingham City supporters attending Saturday’s game at Coventry City have been urged to tighten their purse-strings inside the CBS Arena.

There was widespread outrage when it was revealed that Blues fans would have to pay up to £45 for a ticket to watch the Championship game that will be televised live on Sky Sports.

Coventry have charged under-18s a whopping £35 to attend a fixture that falls under their Category A+ pricing strategy.

The Blues Trust has dubbed the prices ‘a scandalous measure to exploit the loyalty of fans’ and joined the Official Supporters Club in asking the 2,744 Bluenoses who have purchased tickets to avoid parting with their cash inside the stadium.
