OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Law enforcement arrested a West Monroe man accused of planning to meet with who he thought was a teenager from Grindr.

On Sept. 26, law enforcement arrested Ashton Fabela on one count of attempted carnal knowledge of a juvenile, one count of indecent behavior with a juvenile, and one count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor.

According to arrest records, the Louisiana State Police was working undercover on Grindr when Fabela reached out to them.

LSP said Fabela asked the undercover agent to come over, at which point the agent told Fabela he wanted to bring his nephew with him.

According to arrest records, Fabela asked how old the nephew was because he “don’t mess with minors.”

The agent told Fabela the nephew was 15.

LSP said Fabela responded, “OK.
