ROCKY RIVER, Ohio – Two incumbents are among the four candidates running for three spots on the Rocky River school board.
Jessica Wilson and Lauren Negrey are the incumbents. They are joined on the ballot by Steven Shepard and Meri Armour , who have not served previously on the school board.
Wilson and Negrey, during a candidates forum held by the League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland, stressed their desire to maintain excellence for Rocky River students and support a successful transition to new district administrative leadership with a new superintendent having joined the district in August. Both have children in the school district.
Wilson has a master’s degree in public policy and management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. She serves as president of Hendy
