The crowds for the Downtown Belleville Blues Festival earlier this month were bigger than last year and it will become
a 2 day event in 2026.
Donations totalled almost $3,000 to Gleaners Food Bank from festival-goers and on Thursday evening Mayor Neil
Ellis congratulated the many volunteers who worked hard on what is expected to be an event that will grow in popularity.
Co-Founder and festival producer Carol Feeney said plans are already in the works for next year.
The festival will occur over two days, Saturday and Sunday, September 12 and 13.
Feeney said the Friday night entertainment was cancelled due to the day falling on September 11.
