ROSWELL, Ga. — Roswell Police said a man was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of his father following an argument.

On Thursday morning, police were called to 1900 Rosemont Apartments located on Rosemont Parkway. Police on scene said the incident happened around 8:30 a.m.

Officers located a man, later identified as 56-year-old Gary Clark, with apparent gunshot wounds inside an apartment.

During an investigation, officers learned the suspect, 29-year-old Tristan Dinnall, was in an argument with his father earlier that morning, police said.

A some point during the dispute, Dinnall grabbed a handgun and shot Clark before leaving, according to police.
