COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster declared a State of Emergency Friday afternoon in preparation for potential severe weather early next week.

McMaster issued Executive Order 2025-33 , declaring a State of Emergency in preparation for the potential impacts of Tropical Disturbance 94L, which is projected to hit South Carolina in the coming days.

The governor asks South Carolinians to monitor forecasts and begin taking proper precautions ahead of the weather.
