BATAVIA, Ill. (WLS) -- Lisa Ann Walter not only stars on the ABC hit show " Abbott Elementary ," she's also a popular standup comedian.

She'll be performing in west suburban Batavia in a week. She said she's thrilled to be coming back to the Chicago area just for laughs.

"You can't get rid of me; I'm like a bad penny. I keep showing up," Walter said. "My favorite thing to make them feel is joy.
