Officers were called to the area of Branham Lane and Jarvis Avenue just before 8:30 p.m. An adult motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with major injuries and later pronounced deceased, San Jose police said.
The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene. A juvenile passenger from that vehicle was also transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
