The Week 5 Alabama Volleyball Player of the Week picked up almost one-third of the 27,263 votes cast in the fan poll. And the poll went international with votes coming in from Belgium, Italy, Spain and Canada.

Hartselle junior Brenna McReath earned 8,855 votes, 32.5 percent of the total, to finish atop the poll. The 5-foot-9 McReath had 35 kills – 17.5 per match – last week with 27 digs, 7 blocks and 3 aces in two match victories.
