The possibility of a teachers’ strike remains on the radar for Alberta families, as teachers vote this weekend on the latest contract offer from the province.

From 8 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Monday, teachers will take part in an online voting process for the tentative agreement.

“Teachers do not take the decision before them lightly. They recognize what is on the line with this vote and remain committed to an outcome that prioritizes the future of our public education system,” said ATA president Jason Schilling.
