Search for Darius Macdougall of Lethbridge in day six, efforts will continue this weekend

The search for a missing Lethbridge boy in the Crowsnest Pass will ramp up on the weekend, said an Alberta Search and Rescue official.

Darius Macdougall, 6, has been missing since Sunday. He was last seen walking with young family members and reported missing at about 11:30 a.m. Sunday after family had looked for him for about an hour.

Overnight Thursday, search teams were joined by an RCMP helicopter, dogs and drones. On Friday, about 120 people, including roughly 68 volunteer searchers, were on scene, and other resources were also deployed, including five drones and the RCMP helicopter.
