Nearly 50 tires dumped on the property of an Enfield small business

Illegal dumping is a problem many Connecticut communities experience.

In Enfield, one local business helped another out of an expensive situation they did not ask for.

Cold Harbor Seafood is in the process of opening a second location on Hazard Avenue. Owner Luann Lanzieri says she was driving by when she saw dozens of tires dumped on her property.

“Furious. I didn’t know why anyone would feel they had the right to drop their garbage off on somebody else’s property,” said Lanzieri. "We're a little family-owned business we don't have the time or the extra cash to get rid of somebody else’s garbage."

Lanzieri took to Facebook and shared her frustration. In just an hour, the right eyes spotted it.
