Corning Museum of Glass to host event to look at the creation of the world's largest convex mirror

CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Corning Museum of Glass announced on Friday, Sept. 26 that it is hosting a special look at an observatory in South America dubbed the world's largest digital camera. Experts say the Vera C. Rubin Observatory is helping reshape our understanding of the universe.

Key to making it work is the world's largest convex mirror. The event is happening on Sept. 30th at 6 p.m., and you can attend virtually.
