The Seahawks improved to 3-1 with a Thursday night victory over the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle's third straight win after a season opening loss, and an eighth consecutive win on the road.
The win was another positive step for the Seahawks as they continue to build under second-year coach Mike Macdonald, but it was also a game that left Macdonald and players feeling like they can be better, especially because the Seahawks had chances to put the game away, only to see Arizona rally to tie it late in the fourth quarter.

During his weekly spot on Seattle Sports 710AM Macdonald made the comment that the Seahawks are a good team that can be great, but isn't there yet. Later he was asked to
